Ok so I took some time earlier to go through my pictures that I took in Atlanta with my LG Chocolate phone. Some of them came out lousy, where others came out great!
I took off from JFK in NYC. That’s where the pictures will begin (of the plane itself). It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a large plane. I’m used to being on one of JetBlue’s planes, which are smaller than the 737s that Delta and other airlines fly (this one wasn’t a 737 though, unless it was just configured differently inside and they still call it a 737). Anyway, I flew Delta since JetBlue doesn’t go to Atlanta and the plane was uncomfortable. I was squashed against the seat in front of me and I’m only 5′5″! Imagine someone taller than me that would need to upgrade to first class just to be comfortable? The video screens also aren’t placed in the best spots either so neck and eye strain are a must and it’s possible that wherever you sit your screen is partly blocked by an exit sign (half of mine was cut off because of the exit sign) or the seat in front of you.

Here’s a picture of the wing. My window was screwed up beyond belief! It was filthy and scratched, so the picture quality isn’t the greatest because of that.

This is a picture of the Delta terminal at JFK.

This is behind my seat. The plane just seems to go on and on for miles.

This is another picture of the seats behind me.

This is a picture of what’s in front of me. Notice that I’m right behind the window exits? This other picture is of my nonexistant leg room. It doesn’t look so bad but if you’re sitting there for two hours, it’s bad.
We did hit a little nasty air on the way down, which wasn’t that bad. If the plane was smaller, it would’ve been felt more with a lot more bouncing around. So the ride was smooth. However, when we were getting ready to land, it felt like we were on a rollercoaster going over little hills (the kids and people behind me acted as if they were on a rollercoaster too. Me? I was lingering between life and death because I was up at 5:30 am so it startled me badly and wasn’t the greatest feeling). It also seemed like we were going to on a building too or plow right into the roof anyway. Hence the up and down motion of the plane (freaking auto pilot, who needs it anyway?!). I made it on the ground safe and sound though.
More pictures to come in a separate post.
